CD Ractopamine Rapid Test is a competitive immunoassay for the semi-quantitative detection of the presence of Ractopamine residue in urine.
Urine, tissue, serum, feed
Clenbuterol is a long acting beta 2 adrenergic agonist. Like other beta 2 agonists, clenbuterol is believed to act by stimulating production of cyclic AMP through the activation of adenyl cyclase. By definition, Beta 2 agonists have more smooth muscle relaxation activity (bronchial, vascular and uterine smooth muscle) versus its cardiac effects (Beta 1).
Principle Of The Test
CD Ractopamine Rapid Test is based on competitive lateral flow immunochromatographic assay. The RAC-conjugate in the test zone will capture the immuno-gold (colloid gold-RAC antibody conjugate), when there is very little dissociative RAC in the samples. A visible red test band indicates a negative result when the control line (C zone) shows that the card is valid. The test band (T zone) will be not visible if RAC is present in concentration of 3 ppb and above which explains a positive result.
