Chlortetracycline

Chlortetracycline, also known as aureomycin, is a tetracycline antibiotic, the first tetracycline to be identified. It is active against gram-positive cocci, especially staphylococcus, pneumococcal bacteria. In aquaculture, oxytetracycline is widely used in disease prevention and treatment. The residue of oxytetracycline is harmful for consumers (such as immunosuppressive effects, liver damage).
