Nitrofurantoin (CPAHD)

Nitrofurantoin is an antibiotic used to treat bladder infections. It is not effective for kidney infections. Common side effects include nausea, loss of appetite, diarrhea, and headaches. Rarely numbness, lung problems, or liver problems may occur.
