Chlorpyrifos (CPF)

Rapid CDIA^TM Chlorpyrifos kits are intended to use as a rapid method to detect the presence of chlorpyrifos in agricultural products.

Chlorpyrifos is a broad spectrum organophosphorus insecticide that is widely used in agriculture and indoor disinfestation. It is moderately toxic to mammalian species, but extremely toxic to bees and a wide range of aquatic species. Due to its widespread use in agriculture, a high chlorpyrifos residue occurrence in food has been reported, which poses potential health hazards.
